Outdoor Range

Wankinquoah Rod & Gun Club Outdoor Range

Wankinquoahs Outdoor Range is 100 yards. You are allowed to shoot from any distance between the range building lanes and the berm. (up to 100 yards)

Due to the nature of the range, multiple distance firing lines cannot shoot simultaneously. When sharing the range all shooters must shoot from the closest firing line to the berm.

There is no skeet or trap shooting at Wankinquoah at this time.

Outdoor Range Hours are posted.

Hunting Season the Range is Closed Monday through Saturday

Open Sundays January 1st – April 1st

The Outdoor Range Season is April 1- Columbus Day Weekend

Monday through Saturday 9 am til ½ hour before dusk.

NO NIGHT HOURS
Sundays 10 am til ½ Hour before Dusk

The Outdoor Range Committee hosts multiple range events throughout the year. Check the events page and calendar for details. All Wankinquoah Ranges are closed to general use during range events.

PROHIBITED at the OUTDOOR RANGE:

• USE Armor Piecing Ammo
• Explosive Targets without Board Consent and RSO Presence
• Automatic Firing without License and RSO Presence
• Metal Shooting without RSO Presence ( Metal Shoots are planned throughout the year)

ALLOWED at the OUTDOOR RANGE:

• Shotguns
• Black Powder
• All Caliber Pistol and Long Gun
